| Before
Ordering Most of the components in this catalog are intended to alter or modify Land Cruisers for the purpose of Off-Roading which is an inherently dangerous sport. Proper installation and safe use of these components is solely your responsibility. A professional installer / mechanic is highly recommended for installing any component that may affect the reliability or safety of your vehicle. Driving techniques when off-roading and off-road racing are very different than the skills required for on highway driving. If you are inexperienced at off-road driving, joining an off-road club or association is an excellent way to meet people who are skilled and experienced at off-road driving, and most clubs plan "runs" that practice safety and skills necessary for safe and enjoyable off-roading. A vehicle that is "set up" for off-roading quite often will handle unpredictably in the on-road environment. Do not expect your Land Cruiser that has been "set up" for the ultimate in off-roading to handle like a street car on the pavement - IT WILL NOT! |
| Warranty
Most parts sold by Man-A-Fre are guaranteed against defects in materials or workmanship for a period of 90 days by the original manufacturer or Man-A-Fre. Some exceptions to this are: Headers, which carry no warranty due to the nature of their intended use, our rebuilt smog or power steering pumps which carry a 6 month warranty, our rebuilt long blocks* which carry a 6 or 12 month warranty respectively. Warranty does not cover labor, incidental damage, or freight charges. There is no warranty on any used part or electrical item. Cores must be returned to Man-a-fre for inspection at customers expense. Core charge refunded only after tear down confirms core is rebuildable. Rejected cores will be returned to customer upon request. Customer pays all freight. *Warranty on rebuilt components valid only if recommend service schedule is followed and maintenance is performed by a professional mechanic. |

when Ordering 1) Model of your Land Cruiser, whether FJ40, FJ55, etc. 2) Production date of your vehicle (month/year), and your frame number. 3 Any modifications or peculiarities of your vehicle that may affect your order. 4) Catalog number and price sheet date (if ordering through catalog) 5) Method of payment. 6) Method of shipment. 7) Full name and address of person making order; shipping address if different. Credit card BILLING address. 8) Day Time Phone number where you can be reached. |
| Methods of
Payment 1) CREDIT CARD We accept Visa, Mastercard and the Discover Card. When using a credit card, we will need the card number, the expiration date and name exactly as it appears on the card. 2) C.O.D. Man-A-Fre accepts COD (Cash On Delivery) orders for shipments by either UPS Ground or Three Day Select only. However, UPS will not accept cash on COD orders. They will only accept a Certified, Cashier's Check or Money Order made out to Man-A-Fre for the total amount of the order including shipping and sales tax (if applicable). Please verify the total amount of your order with your salesperson. We DO NOT accept personal or business checks for COD orders. No COD orders outside the continental United States. 3) CHECK We will accept checks to pre-pay an order. However we will not ship the order until the check has cleared and the funds have been received in our bank. MINIMUM ORDER Every order must total $10 minimum (parts only). |
| Shipping
At Man-A-Fre all business is done F.O.B. our warehouse, which means you are responsible for all freight, box and handling charges. Shipping is a service we provide for your convenience, not a part of our business. UPS is generally the fastest, least expensive method of shipping items that meet their size and weight requirements. With UPS orders, it is critical that your address and shipping information be exact. UPS will not deliver to a P.O. box. PARCEL POST shipments with the U.S. Post Office are available but must be pre-paid. FEDERAL EXPRESS is available for quicker delivery and the careful handling of fragile items. Items that are too large or heavy to go by UPS, PARCEL POST or FEDEX will be shipped by truck. We have negotiated very competitive truck freight rates, and can ship large items almost anywhere at very reasonable costs. Customers are responsible for all expenses related to refused or returned shipments. |
| Damaged
Freight Merchandise damaged during shipment is the sole responsibility of the carrier. Only the carrier can solve a problem, and only you, the consignee, can file a claim. We will be happy to help you with a claim in any way possible, but the responsibility for filing the claim is YOURS. If there is obvious damage to the carton before the driver leaves, ask the driver to note any discrepancies on the freight bill and have him/her sign it. Tell the driver you want to file a claim and he/she will help you. DO NOT REFUSE THE SHIPMENT. You are responsible for all freight costs for refused shipments. If after the driver leaves concealed damage is found, contact the carriers office immediately. They will assist you with filing a claim. If there is a problem with your order other than freight damage, call our office immediately and we will assist you. All discrepancies on orders must be reported within 5 working days after receipt of your order. |
| Returns
At MAN-A-FRE you may return any product that meets the below guidelines, if for any reason you wish to return a product within 30 days from the purchase date, and it is in new/resellable condition and has not been installed, you may return it for a refund -10% for restocking/handling charges for the purchase price of the product. After 30 days, up to 60 days, you may still return a product, in new/resellable/uninstalled condition, but will be charged a 20% restocking fee. Freight, Handling, and incidental expenses are not refundable. No returns on electrical, used, or special order items. You must have an RMA# in order to return items to Man-A-Fre. To get a Return Authorization, call our customer service department or click here to obtain the online form. All returns without RMA authorization numbers will be refused. Once issued Return Authorizations are valid for 30 days, after which time if parts are not received into our facilities, the RMA is canceled, and voided. Customer is responsible for freight insurance and related fees. |
